Tell EPA: No PFAS pollution in drinking water for industry profit

Instead of protecting families from toxic PFAS pollution, this federal administration has:

  • Moved to delay and eliminate drinking water protections for several PFAS chemicals, putting communities and children at greater risk, and threatening more than 100 million Americans who have these toxic chemicals in their drinking water.

  • Walked away from a science-based assessment of PFAS risks to farms and drinking water and replaced it with weaker guidance that fails to protect communities.

  • Cut a deal with Chemours, a notorious PFAS polluter, that falls far short of holding the company accountable for the widespread contamination it caused.

  • Stacked EPA's Science Advisory Board with chemical industry insiders, including Chemours executives, giving polluters greater influence over decisions that affect people's health.

PFAS pollution is preventable. The most cost effective, safest way to protect people is to stop PFAS before it reaches farms and drinking water supplies. EPA has the tools and authority to do that, but it is failing to act. Preventing pollution at the source is the most effective and affordable way to protect communities and ensure polluters bear the cost of their pollution—not farms, families and communities.

Tell EPA to change course: protect people, strengthen safeguards against PFAS pollution, and hold polluters accountable.
