Save our wildest forests.

Tell the Forest Service to keep the roadless rule.

For nearly a quarter-century, a U.S. Forest Service policy called the ‘roadless rule’ has safeguarded millions of acres of the nation’s wildest public lands including more than 600,000 acres in the South. These roadless areas are home to world-famous recreation destinations, provide habitat to wildlife, safeguard clean water, and support local economies that depend on our public lands.

But now, the Forest Service is proposing to rescind the roadless rule, putting these iconic places—and their countless benefits—on the chopping block.

Revoking the roadless rule would open these remarkable places to reckless roadbuilding and destructive industrial and logging projects. You can fight back by telling the Forest Service to keep the roadless rule in place and ensure that these spectacular public lands can be enjoyed by future generations.
